Partner FAQ
Answers matched to the current property, lead, messaging, contact, advertising, payment, and account API flows.
Actions are not interchangeable
Draft, publish, close, amend, cancel, refund, revoke, and delete have different backend effects. Use the dedicated action and read its confirmation details before submitting.
1. Who can use the Partner Portal?
Owners, managers, advertisers, and authorised team members can use features allowed by their backend roles and scoped permissions. Signing in does not automatically grant access to every property, advertiser, or action.
2. What happens when I create or publish a listing?
The API stores the property and listing information under your authorised account. Public discovery begins only when the listing reaches an eligible published state. Text and media can be automatically checked or sent for authorised review; a failed check can keep content unpublished or require changes.
3. Is the exact address public?
No. Public property and listing responses use a fuzzed approximate location. The exact address is stored separately and returned only through an authorised address flow. Do not place the exact address in public description text or images if it should remain restricted.
4. What happens when a customer expresses interest or responds to Need Now?
The action creates or reuses the relevant lead or conversation. It is not a booking or payment. A Need Now response can close when the customer withdraws, the partner declines, or the request expires.
5. How does contact sharing work?
Your listing preference controls whether users stay in chat, request contact, wait for approval, or reach a verified fallback contact. The grant records expiry and view limits. Revocation blocks later retrieval, but cannot remove details already viewed or copied.
6. What does a fallback contact receive?
A fallback contact is added and verified through explicit backend steps. When the configured flow applies, that person can receive a contact request for an unavailable owner. Tell the person why their details are being added and remove or revoke them when no longer needed.
7. What happens when I close a listing?
The close action changes the listing lifecycle and customer availability. It does not cancel a lease, refund an off-platform payment, or erase prior leads and messages. Review open conversations and obligations before closing.
8. How are campaign price and payment decided?
The backend creates a time-limited quote from inventory, targeting, dates, pricing, and any valid coupon. Review the displayed amount, tax, schedule, creative, and cancellation terms before checkout. Razorpay handles payment details; Fledge records the identifiers and status needed to confirm or reconcile the campaign.
9. Can I amend or cancel a paid campaign?
Use the dedicated amendment or cancellation flow. The page and API result determine whether a change is allowed and whether there is an added charge, credit, or refund. Editing a draft is not the same as amending an active paid campaign.
10. What do advertising analytics mean?
Analytics report recorded delivery and engagement events for supported placements. They are operational measurements, not a promise of occupancy, leads, revenue, or a particular customer action.
11. What happens when I delete my account?
The API immediately marks your user account deleted and revokes active sessions. It does not instantly erase every shared organisation, property, campaign, payment, dispute, backup, or audit record. Make sure another authorised member can manage shared resources and read the confirmation banner before deleting.
12. How do I report a problem?
Use the in-product report or moderation route when available so the correct listing, message, or campaign identifiers are included. Email support for account, billing, or privacy help. Fledge is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for immediate physical danger.
Still need help? Contact Fledge support or read the Privacy Policy.
